House Fire

Micky is a postman at Harrow and tragically lost everything in a house fire. His home has been completed gutted and all their household possessions have been lost, together with all their sentimental possessions. This tragic event involved his son being trapped in the house, forced to jump from an upstairs window.  Everyone was safe; however, they are now in temporary accommodation at a local Travelodge.  The insurance company have told Micky that he should not look to move back into his old property for at least a year.

His local office was quick to respond with a collection and his Delivery Office Manager referred Micky to the Fund Helpline.  Given the situation and the fact that Micky and his family no longer have any personal possessions, the Fund were pleased to donate £1,000 direct to Micky and his family.
